Paul is a system administrator for applications and data, educationalist, musician, avid foodie and coffee consumer, and arts enthusiast.

Paul currently works in the education/not-for-profit sector at the College of Intensive Care Medicine, delivering system administrative tasks for applications and data, including developing and maintaining online learning packages.

Graduating, in a strange COVID-19 way, Paul studied a Bachelor of Education Studies at both Flinders University and Curtain University. These studies included a range of topics such as various Middle/Secondary Education topics, Information Technology, Geography and Mathematics. These studies included placement at both Heathfield High School and Eastern Fleurieu 7-12 school.

Paul has been a musician from a young age, learning piano from the age of 7 and trumpet at the age of 9. With AMEB Grade Preliminary in piano and AMEB Grade 4 in trumpet, his passion has continued and developed over 20 years. Some key highlights from Paul’s music exposure includes producing the Hahndorf Town Band 2012 Musikfest – “Once Upon A Time”, performing with the Little Shop of Horror orchestra, and workshops with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and ABODA. Since 2019, Paul performs with the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Choir as part of their Bass 1 section.

Theatre is another aspect to Paul’s passion for the arts. He directed the Hahndorf’s 175th anniversary of the Arrival of the Captain Hahn, reviewed a number of productions for various organisations and performed in a variety of productions too. Recently, from 2017 to 2021, Paul was a member of the Theatre Association of South Australia’s (TASA) committee, as their Encore (Magazine) Editor and Website manager. A key component of Paul’s time with TASA, was taking the association through a digital transformation.

Recently Paul combined many of his skills in the College of Intensive Care Medicine’s Annual Scientific Meeting, producing their social event, “A Night On Broadway – At Home”. The virtual event highlighted a range of skills, connections and the ability for Paul to produce an hour of virtual entertainment to an online audience.
