Sisi ni moja

South Australia Festival of Music
Song/ Work: Sisi ni moja
Composer: Jacob Narverud

Celebrating 130 years of choral singing with South Australian Public Primary School students.

The title is Swahili meaning “We are one,” the theme being that all human beings have much in common. The energetic djembe sets the tone, the piano adds its own rhythmic design, and the singers dramatically deliver the message. Composed by Jacob Narverud, who came up with a highly rhythmic celebratory composition.
